About Annie

HI, I'M ANNIE

Hi, I'm Annie. I spent years as a software and website designer before pivoting to personal training in my late forties. I started perimenopause at forty-two, thinking it happened much later in life. By forty-nine I was sometimes not sleeping at all. HRT and strength training gave me the head start back. I've been alcohol-free for eight years.

I built the AF Fitness App because almost every midlife woman I speak to has been given the wrong advice — either programmes built for twenty-five-year-olds, or restrictive diets that make perimenopause worse, or generic coaching that doesn't understand what your body is actually doing. This app is what I needed at forty-two and couldn't find anywhere. It's eat smart, train smart, for the body you have now.

Do I need to download an app to start the free trial?
No. The trial runs through the web for the first seven days. If you decide to continue after the trial, you'll get access to the full AF Fitness App.
Is this suitable if I'm completely new to strength training?
Yes. The programmes start at every level, including women who have never lifted before or who are returning after a long break. Every exercise is demonstrated and form-checked.
I'm in full menopause — is this for me?
Yes. The app is specifically built for pre-menopause, perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. Your plan adapts to your stage.
What if I don't have gym equipment?
Plans are built for home with minimal equipment, full gym setups, or anywhere in between. You'll choose your training environment during onboarding.
How much time per week does it take?
Most members train three to four times a week, around 35–50 minutes per session. The app is built to fit around real life, not replace it.
What if it's not for me?
